1. General Information
GoCar Armenia operates as an online car hire platform connecting customers with trusted local car rental suppliers across Armenia. We are not a direct car rental company but act as an intermediary to facilitate easy and transparent car bookings.
2. Booking and Payment
All bookings made through our website must be confirmed with accurate personal and contact information. Payment options include debit card, credit card, or cash upon arrival, depending on the vehicle and supplier policy. Some cars are available under the Car Hire Armenia No Deposit option, while others may require a small refundable deposit.
3. Rental Agreement
The car rental agreement is made directly between you (the renter) and the local supplier. Each supplier has its own rental terms regarding insurance, mileage, fuel policy, and driver requirements. Please read the rental contract carefully before signing it at pickup.
4. Driver and License Requirements
Drivers must present a valid driving license, passport, and booking confirmation at the time of car collection. International travelers can use their national driving license if it’s written in English or accompanied by an International Driving Permit (IDP). Minimum driver age and license validity requirements may vary by supplier.
5. Insurance and Coverage
All vehicles include basic insurance coverage as required by Armenian law. Optional full coverage or zero-excess packages may be available for an additional fee. It is the renter’s responsibility to review insurance terms before confirming the booking.
6. Modifications and Cancellations
Bookings can be modified or canceled in accordance with the supplier’s cancellation policy. Some bookings allow free cancellation within a certain timeframe, while others may include a small administrative fee. For any change or cancellation request, please contact GoCar Armenia or the local supplier directly.
7. Vehicle Pickup and Return
Cars must be collected and returned at the agreed time and location. Late returns may result in additional charges. The vehicle should be returned in the same condition as received, with the same fuel level, unless otherwise stated in the rental agreement.
8. Responsibilities of the Renter
The renter is responsible for any traffic fines, tolls, or damage caused during the rental period. The use of the vehicle outside Armenian borders is not permitted unless specifically approved by the supplier. GoCar Armenia is not responsible for additional costs or disputes arising from misuse of the rental vehicle.
9. Limitation of Liability
GoCar Armenia acts solely as an intermediary platform and cannot be held responsible for issues related to vehicle condition, delays, or disputes between the customer and the supplier. Our role is to ensure smooth communication and transparent service, but final responsibility lies with the rental company.
10. Privacy and Data Protection
All personal data collected during the booking process is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We take all necessary measures to ensure your data is secure and never shared with unauthorized parties.
11. Changes to Terms
GoCar Armenia reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will take effect immediately upon posting on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
